Tinubu’s Finance Minister, Wale Edun Gets a Cool World Bank Job!
Hey there, middle schoolers! Guess what? Wale Edun, who is the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, just got an awesome job at the World Bank. He is now the Chairman of the African Governors’ Forum. How cool is that?
The African Governors’ Forum is a special group where finance ministers and central bank governors from different African countries can talk to the World Bank about things they care about. They discuss important topics together and work on things that are good for Africa.
This is a big deal because Wale Edun is the first person from Nigeria to get this job. It’s a really special opportunity for Nigeria and for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. They can work together to make positive changes and help Nigeria become even better.
