
Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Governors Forum, Bala Mohammed, has identified an entity “likely” to be blamed for the crisis in the party.
Mohammed, who is the Governor of Bauchi State, said the All Progressives Congress, APC, is likely to be blamed for the crisis in the PDP.
He disclosed this while addressing journalists after a meeting of the forum and other stakeholders, with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike in attendance last night.
Mohammed, who is the Governor of Bauchi State, said the All Progressives Congress, APC, is likely to be blamed for the crisis in the PDP.
He disclosed this while addressing journalists after a meeting of the forum and other stakeholders, with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike in attendance last night.
The aim of the crucial meeting was to address issues affecting the party.
The Governors of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke; Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang; Oyo State, Seyi Makinde; and Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri, Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, and Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal were in attendance.
Also in attendance were former President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, a former Niger State Governor, Babangida Muazu, a former Bauchi State Governor, Adamu Muazu, a former Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, a former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido and a former Governor of Akwa Ibom, Udom Emmanuel are also there.
PDP has been involved in leadership crisis since the build-up to the 2023 presidential election.
