The 2023 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has expressed concerns about President Bola Tinubu’s academic records. Atiku believes that Tinubu may be hiding something about his education at Chicago State University.
Atiku, through his Media Aide, Paul Ibe, hopes that Nigerians will not be shocked by what Tinubu is hiding. This comes after Tinubu filed a motion challenging a court order to release his academic records within two days.
The court ruled in favor of Atiku, who is contesting Tinubu’s victory in the presidential poll held on February 25. Tinubu’s lawyers argued that the magistrate should only report and recommend to the district judge, rather than making a final order for immediate compliance.
Ibe, speaking on behalf of Atiku, stated that the truth about Tinubu’s academic records will soon be revealed. He believes that Tinubu is hiding something not only at Chicago State University but also elsewhere.
Ibe concluded by saying that he hopes whatever Tinubu is hiding will not be so shocking that it gives Nigerians a heart attack. He assured the public that Atiku’s position on Tinubu’s records will be made clear in due time.
