The Bayelsa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has decided to delay the official flag-off of its campaign for the upcoming gubernatorial election. The event was originally scheduled for Saturday, October 14, 2023.
The postponement was due to some important matters from the office of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He wanted to be present at the event but had some urgent things to take care of.
The APC regrets any inconvenience caused by the postponement and promises to announce a new date soon. They want all their supporters and the public to stay focused on their goal of taking over leadership from the current PDP-led government in the state.
Even though the flag-off event is postponed, the campaign activities will still continue. The next stops are Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area on Tuesday and Southern Ijaw Local Government Area from Wednesday.
