Court of Appeal Overturns Election Tribunal’s Decision in Delta State

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has made a new decision regarding the election for Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in Delta State. Previously, the National and State House of Assembly Election Tribunal in Asaba had declared Ndudi Elumelu, a candidate from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as the winner of the 2023 election.

However, the Court of Appeal has now overturned this decision. In a ruling on Thursday, they declared Ngozi Okolie, a candidate from the Labour Party (LP), as the rightful winner of the election.
