Hey there, middle schoolers! Guess what? Pastor Reno Omokri, who used to work for former President Goodluck Jonathan, has made a bold statement. He said that if the Supreme Court dismisses the appeal made by Mr. Peter Obi, a candidate from the Labour Party in the February 2023 general election, he will dance! How cool is that?
Reno Omokri, through his Twitter account, called out the ‘Obidients’ for their erratic behavior and lack of self-control when it comes to important matters. He pointed out that these ‘Obidients’ have been making fun of and insulting the Chief Justice of Nigeria and his colleagues. And now, Reno is ready to celebrate if Obi’s appeal gets dismissed.
Reno had some strong words for the ‘Obidients.’ He said, “Hey, Obidients! Today, the Supreme Court will start discussing Peter Obi’s appeal. But let me remind you of something. In the past few months, you guys have been disrespecting the Chief Justice of Nigeria and the other justices. You even made fun of him when he was on a wheelchair, as if you won’t grow old someday too.”
He continued, “You’ve been creating insulting cartoons of the Supreme Court justices and spreading disrespectful stories about them. You’ve even accused them of taking bribes without any evidence. Don’t you think they have families and friends who would hear about all the terrible things you’ve been saying? And now, you want them to listen to your appeal? Come on, guys! Learn some self-control and think before you act.”
Reno had some wise advice for the ‘Obidients.’ He said, “Remember, the people you insult today might be the same people you need help from tomorrow. And the people you criticize today might be the ones who will support you in the future. So, it’s important to be strategic and respectful in your actions.”
He added, “After months of disrespect and insults, you can’t expect them to honor your appeal. But guess what? I’m already practicing the dance I’ll do when Obi’s appeal gets dismissed. It’s called Obito Continua!”
