The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is determined to prevent any political party from rigging the upcoming governorship election in Imo State.
The PDP believes that it will defeat the All Progressives Congress, APC, and emerge victorious in the election. Various indicators suggest that the PDP has a strong chance of winning.
The PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, stated that Governor Hope Uzodinma and the APC do not enjoy the support of the people in Imo State. The APC knows that it does not have the people’s mandate.
Ologunagba pointed out that Governor Uzodinma has never won any election because he is disconnected from the people. He lacks a visible support base, even in his own hometown of Orlu.
Ologunagba confidently stated, “The indicators are clear, and the November 11, 2023 election will not be different. Governor Uzodinma will not win in any polling unit in a free, fair, and transparent election because Imo people have found a credible, sincere, humane, and approachable leader in Senator Anyanwu.”
