Hey there, middle schoolers of Imo State! We’ve got some important news for you about the upcoming governorship election. It’s time to take action and prevent any attempts to rig the election in your polling stations.
A group of Imo indigenes living abroad has come together to form a coalition. They want to make sure that the election is fair and transparent. Their leader, Chief Michael Okoroeze, has a great idea for all of you. He wants you to use your phones to collect evidence if you see any attempts to rig the election.
So, after you cast your vote, take out your phone and start recording. If you notice someone tampering with the ballot boxes or doing anything fishy, capture it on video. Then, share that video with others. Let everyone know what’s happening!
But that’s not all. Chief Okoroeze also wants you to take to the streets if you witness any rigging attempts. If someone tries to cheat and manipulate the election, it’s time to stand up and protest. Show them that you won’t tolerate any unfairness!
And if the Nigerian court system gets involved and tries to interfere, don’t be afraid to protest against that too. Let them know that they should stay out of the election process. Your voice matters, and you have the right to be heard!
Chief Okoroeze wants to remind you why it’s so important to vote. By casting your vote, you have the power to make a difference. You can help put an end to some of the terrible things happening in your state.
Vote to stop extrajudicial executions, where innocent people are killed without a fair trial. Vote to stop the arrests of innocent citizens. Vote to end the horrible crime of rape in Igbo land. Vote to put an end to the harassment at illegal checkpoints and roadblocks. And finally, vote to fight against bribery and corruption.
Remember, it’s your right to choose your candidate, and the Supreme Court of Nigeria should respect that. So, make sure you go out and perform your civic duty on Saturday. Your vote can make a real difference!
