Kogi Election: Labour Party Supports PDP’s Dino Melaye

Just a week before the election, the PDP and LP made an important announcement. They decided to back Dino Melaye, who is the PDP’s candidate for governor. This decision came after talking to many important people in the state.
The parties released a statement together, saying, “We are happy to tell you that something big happened today, on November 4, 2023. It’s a big moment for our state, Kogi. We want to get rid of the darkness that has been around for more than seven years under the APC led by Alhaji Yahaya Bello.”
The statement continued, “After talking to many people and thinking about what’s best for our state, the Labour Party has decided to support Senator Dino Melaye, who is the PDP candidate for the Kogi State Governorship Election on November 11th. This alliance is for the good of all the people in Kogi and the supporters of the Labour Party. We ask all our supporters in Kogi State to come together and vote for PDP’s Senator Dino Melaye on November 11th, 2023.”
Senator Melaye himself confirmed the news by sharing the joint statement on his social media pages.
