Dino Melaye Accuses Yahaya Bello of Seeking Third Term in Kogi Governorship Election
Dino Melaye, who is running for governorship in Kogi State under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has made a serious accusation against the current governor, Yahaya Bello. According to Melaye, Bello is trying to extend his time in office by using the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Ahmed Ododo.
Melaye claims that if Ododo is elected, he will simply be a figurehead while Bello continues to make all the important decisions. Bello is not able to run for a third term himself, so he is using Ododo as a proxy to achieve his goal.
Melaye wants to make it clear that even though Bello’s name is not on the ballot, he is still the one seeking a third term. He urges voters not to be deceived by this tactic and to see through Bello’s plan.
Melaye wants the focus of the election to be on his political party and what they can offer to the people of Kogi State. He believes in marketing his party’s vision and plans rather than getting caught up in debates about Bello’s actions.
