Hey everyone! So, the Governor of Enugu State, Barr Peter Mbah, had a meeting with all the political appointees. He told them that they will be judged based on how well they do their jobs. The government really wants to keep its promises and make things better for everyone.
This meeting happened at a fancy resort called Nike Lake Resort in Enugu. It was a three-day retreat where important people talked about leadership, development, and other cool stuff. They had experts like Prof. Joseph Urama, Dr. Ibukun Awosika, Linus Okorie, Dr. Joe Abah, Dr. Sam Onyia, and Prof. Chukwumerije Okereke sharing their knowledge.
The Governor said that Enugu State’s economy is worth $4.4 billion right now, but they want to make it $30 billion! That’s a big goal, but the Governor believes it’s possible. He wants the political appointees to use what they learned at the retreat to make big changes and improve things.
The Governor said, “We can do it! There are other places in the world where people have come together and made amazing things happen. We can do the same for Enugu. We can have a $30 billion economy, great schools, good healthcare, and lots of new roads.”
