The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) is determined to hold onto its governorship seat in Kano State, according to Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, the party’s founder.
This statement comes after the Kano State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal removed Governor Abba Yusuf from office on September 20th. The tribunal declared Nasiru Gawuna, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the winner of the March 18th governorship election.
Despite this setback, Aniebonam remains confident that the NNPP will not lose its governorship mandate in Kano State. He believes that the party has a strong chance of retaining its seat.
As the NNPP continues to fight for its position, it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold. The party is determined to prove its worth and maintain its presence in Kano State.
