
The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has taken action to ensure justice in the case of the late music star Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as MohBad. He has directed the state Police Command and the Department of State Service to conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding MohBad’s death.
Many concerned residents, especially young people, are planning a protest across the state to draw attention to the need for justice for MohBad’s family and the deceased himself.
In a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed his sympathy for the bereaved family, friends, fans, and residents affected by MohBad’s untimely demise. He ordered the investigation to ensure that justice is served.
The statement from the Lagos State Government reads: “We have taken note of the events following the death of music star Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as MohBad. We extend our condolences to his family and fans. We understand the pain of losing such a talented and promising young man who had made a name for himself in a highly competitive industry. May his soul rest in peace, and may his family and fans find comfort.”
