Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State is praising President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for giving important government positions to the South East region. Despite receiving fewer votes in the last presidential election, President Tinubu showed kindness by assigning valuable ministerial portfolios to the South East.
Governor Soludo believes that assigning the minister of works to the region is a significant responsibility. He explains that in politics, you don’t always get what you deserve, but rather what you negotiate for with your votes.
Governor Soludo acknowledges that considering the number of votes the South East contributed and the ministerial portfolios received, the region may not have a strong basis to demand even more important positions. However, he appreciates that the president chose one of the finest and best individuals from the South East, an engineer who pioneered the use of concrete pavement as the current standard for road construction.
