Hey there, middle schoolers! Guess what? President Bola Tinubu has a message for Nigerians living in the United States. He wants them to change their mindset and strive for success in everything they do. Tinubu shared this advice during a special meeting with Nigerians living abroad in New York. The meeting was organized by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) during the UN General Assembly.
Tinubu wants Nigerians in the US to know that he understands their struggles because he was once in their shoes. He believes that changing our mindset is the key to overcoming failure and achieving success. He wants us to realize that Nigeria is full of business opportunities and that wherever we are, there will always be chances for success if we search for them and put our minds to it.
Tinubu also talked about the importance of good leadership. He believes that Nigeria has the potential to be a prosperous nation, but we need better leaders. During his own campaign, he faced many challenges, but he didn’t let them stop him. He worked hard and stayed determined, and that’s how he won the election. He encouraged Nigerians in the US who are interested in politics to do the same and not let anything hold them back.
Tinubu also emphasized the importance of unity among Nigerians. He wants us to support and accept one another, without any discrimination or prejudice. He believes that together, we can make Nigeria a better place for everyone.
So, middle schoolers, let’s take Tinubu’s advice to heart. Let’s change our mindset, work hard, and support one another. Nigeria is waiting for us to come back and make a difference!
