
The Governor of Benue State, Hyacinth Alia, confidently stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will continue to govern the state for a long time. He emphasized that the people have rejected the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and his administration will prioritize good governance for the benefit of the entire state.
Governor Alia made this declaration during the expanded executive committee meeting of the APC at the state secretariat in Makurdi. He expressed the need for closer collaboration between the government and the party leadership to fulfill the desires and aspirations of the people.
Although Governor Alia was represented by his Chief of Staff, Paul Biam, he assured the party that his administration will not disappoint them. He promised to address the needs and aspirations of the people, making the party proud.
Furthermore, Governor Alia reiterated his determination to lead the APC to victory in every election in the state. He aims to secure the party’s success and ensure its continuous governance.
The chairman of the APC in the state, Comrade Austin Agada, pledged the party’s support for the governor’s efforts to reposition the state for greatness. Agada also urged all local government chairmen of the party to attend government functions and events for the governor, demonstrating their support and solidarity.
