
The Social Development Party, SDP, wants the Inspector General of Police to look into the actions of the Head of Police Quick Response Team in Kogi State. They believe he is helping political thugs cause trouble.
During a press conference in Lokoja, the Chairman of Muri/Sam Campaign Council, Col. Suleiman Babanawa, shared details of the incident. He explained that an officer from the Quick Response Team followed political thugs to Ajaka, where they attacked SDP supporters.
The officer who accompanied the thugs was eventually caught by SDP supporters in Ajaka. He pleaded with them, claiming that he was acting under the orders of his boss.
Col. Suleiman Babanawa expressed his disappointment with the actions of some police officers and called on the Inspector General of Police to take action. He wants the accused officer to be held accountable for his actions.
The SDP believes that there are corrupt officers within the Quick Response Team in Kogi State. They are worried about their plans to cause trouble in Kogi East.
