The Governor of Benue State, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, is determined to make his state one of the top-ranking states in Nigeria. He shared this goal during a symposium organized by the state government to celebrate Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Day.
During the event held at the New Banquet Hall in the Benue State Government House, Makurdi, Governor Alia expressed his gratitude to the scholars and participants for attending. He also mentioned that he has developed a practical roadmap and strategy to achieve this ambitious task.
Despite the challenges faced by the state and the country, Governor Alia believes that both the government and the citizens have a role to play in uplifting the state and the nation. He urged all the people of Benue to think about how they can contribute to the greatness of the state and Nigeria as a whole.
