The church wants to help young people stay away from crime, and one way they’re doing that is through this awesome football club. Pastor Adeboye believes that by giving young people a positive outlet like sports, they can avoid getting involved in bad stuff.
Dove FC is made up of talented players from all over Nigeria, between the ages of 16 and 21. The goal is to train them and help them become professional footballers in the future. How cool is that?
During the unveiling event, Pastor Adeboye had some wise words for the players. He told them that winning isn’t just about physical strength or money. It’s about having God on your side. He encouraged them to focus on serving God and to remember that true victory comes from Him.
The chairman of Dove FC, Prince Dapo Ajibade, also shared his excitement about the team. He said that with God’s grace and support from Pastor Adeboye, Dove FC will become a huge brand known all over the world. Talk about aiming high!
