The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has some advice for the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, and Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi. He says they shouldn’t bother going to the Supreme Court to challenge the judgement of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
According to Ayodele, going to the Supreme Court would be like throwing billions of naira into the fire. He believes it would only end up as a waste of resources. Instead, he suggests that Atiku and Obi should focus on preparing for the next election.
Ayodele had previously warned Atiku and Obi to get prepared for the election, but they didn’t listen. He believes they didn’t take the presidential poll seriously and didn’t show enough effort. As a result, they jeopardized their chances of winning.
Ayodele emphasizes that politics is not just a game. It requires a combination of prayer, efforts, and struggle. He believes that Atiku and Obi were not ready for this election and didn’t take the right steps to secure victory. He suggests that they should learn from this experience and prepare better for the next election.
Ayodele believes that what Nigeria needs right now is not the Supreme Court judgment. He thinks that the opposition parties didn’t listen from the beginning and missed their chance to take power away from the ruling party. He emphasizes the importance of being serious and taking the right steps in politics.
