A former Special Adviser to the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, named Umar Ardo, thinks that Atiku might get kicked out of the PDP if he doesn’t give up his dream of becoming president.
Well, Atiku wasn’t happy with the Supreme Court’s decision to declare President Bola Tinubu as the winner of the February presidential election. He made it clear that he wasn’t going anywhere, even though that part of the job was done.
But here’s the thing: the PDP Governors Forum, which is a group of important PDP governors, said that they are willing to work with President Tinubu. This means they have moved away from supporting Atiku.
Umar Ardo, who used to work closely with Atiku, said that after reading Atiku’s press conference and the PDP Governors Forum’s statement, it’s clear that Atiku and the governors are going their separate ways.
Ardo pointed out that the chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Governor Bala Mohammed, praised President Tinubu’s leadership qualities and said that the PDP governors are ready to support him and work with the federal government he leads.
Ardo believes that with these different positions, it won’t be long before something big happens. He thinks that Atiku will either have to give up his dream of becoming president or leave the PDP. And if he doesn’t do either of those things, he might even get expelled from the party!
Well, it means that Atiku might be in some trouble within his own political party. If he doesn’t change his mind about running for president, he could face some serious consequences. It’s like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode!
So, let’s keep an eye on what happens next. Will Atiku step down? Will he leave the PDP? Or will he be expelled? Only time will tell!
