
The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State, Mr. Adinoyi Aroke, has recently resigned from his position and left the party.
Mr. Aroke has been a member of the PDP since 1998. He has held important roles within the party, such as the former state financial secretary and former Special Adviser to former Governor Ibrahim Idris on poverty reduction.
In a letter dated September 7th, 2023, Mr. Aroke addressed his resignation to the ward chairman of the PDP in Oboreke Eba Ward, Okehi Local Government. He expressed his gratitude for his time in the party and stated that his membership has now come to an end.
Mr. Aroke mentioned that he will announce his next political move after consulting with his political family and friends within and outside Kogi State.
Okehi Local Government is the hometown of Mrs. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the PDP senatorial candidate in the last National Assembly election.
