The Peoples Democratic Party, also known as the PDP, is not happy with the recent decision made by the governorship election tribunal. This decision said that Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia is the rightful governor of Benue State. The PDP and its candidate, Titus Uba, had filed a petition against Alia’s election, but the tribunal said that their petition was not good enough.
The PDP thinks that the tribunal’s decision is not fair. They believe that it doesn’t follow the rules and laws that are supposed to be followed during elections. They have decided to appeal the decision at the Court of Appeal in Abuja. The PDP wants their supporters to stay calm and have faith that they will eventually win the governorship mandate.
The PDP is not happy with the tribunal’s decision, and they are going to appeal it. They believe that they have a chance to win the governorship mandate in the end.
